Liberals are Cowards
Ok, folks, I apologize to my dear fans who have been worrying themselves sick wondering where I’ve been or what I’ve been doing… well the simple fact is that I have a real job and this job involves helping people and providing first class counsel (incidentally, on my most recent evaluation, I was rated as the best in my organization). So I’ve been busy. On top of that I’ve been preparing for a move (next week) to Washington, DC, that once honorable federal enclave now turned rancid cesspool thanks to all the you-know-whos and you-know-whats running rampant there. But never fear, though I’ve been very busy, I haven’t failed to think about and be concerned for our dear Christian – that means Conservative – readership.
Perhaps you’ve heard about how the leftists are planning on using reconciliation to pass the healthcare legislation – and when we point out that it is an underhanded tactic, they try to justify themselves by pointing out that Republicans used the procedure when they were in power. Now folks, remember all that I’ve said – leftists are liars, they’re stupid, they’re evil. They really are. When a conservative does any of these things they’re only acting like a liberal. That’s it. Anyway, the would-be overthrowers of the American way (the leftists) are once again proven to be lying imbeciles when one considers that Republicans used it to pass measures that were overwhelmingly desired by the American populace (like tax cuts for everyone) while the typically anti-American leftists wanted Americans to pay more. Furthermore, tax cut type measures are consistent with the American way. Now, in our present day, the socialists want to rework approximately 20% of the American economy, fundamentally changing how life (and death) occurs in this Nation… and they want to do so with legislation overwhelmingly opposed by the populace. See the difference? If you can’t, you’re probably a liberal.
But to add insult to injury, the cowardly anti-American leftists are posed to “deem and pass” this healthcare legislation – in otherwords, “consider” it passed without actually voting on it! They trounce the will of the People, try to rework the framework of the American way of life, support everything and everyone who is opposed to goodness and normalcy, despise the Constitution, and dare to act indignant when us good Americans use rhetoric reserved for times when a People are underthe thumb of a despotic ruler? They’re cowards, they’re evil, their liars.
Good Readers -you simply must remember, with the Left there is no mercy, there is no kindness, there is no compassion. They use that language to trick you into putting them in power so that once IN power they can put systems and rules in place to disregard your will.
People - you must speak up. I know, I know, part of being conservative is being, well, conservative. And that means we just work hard and go home and mind our own business. But while you do nothing, they’re changing everything. As Reagan once said, “The people with the most to lose will do the least to prevent it.” Let’s prove the Gipper wrong, shall we! Let your voice be heard!

A friend sent me this on Facebook about this post:
“Just WOW! Start off an article by talking about how awesome he is at his job and then proceed to spout off the most one-sided, hateful drivel I’ve read in a long time. Conceit much? Nice site you got there. Didn’t make me want to even try reading anything else.”
Here’s my reply:
“Ordinarily, I might be inclined to agree with you. But these are not ordinary times. The way the Dems have gone about trying to pass health care “reform” is disgusting, corrupt, and wicked. Defend it if you can but don’t call it “bi-partisan.” It needs to be called out even in brash language. How can you be offended at Ben’s hubris and not at the contempt the current administration has for truth?”
What can we call them if not cowards? Democrats are the ones trying to pass the bill without actually voting on it. Why? So that cannot be held accountable. So they can have a gimmicky line like “I didn’t vote directly for the Senate bill.” But we know better. What contempt they must have for us! Throw the bastards out, I say!
Yep,”hateful”… that’s the whiny “response” of leftists when you expose them to sunlight. God-forbid we be called “hateful” and since we have been conditioned by the leftists to backpeddle to prove how we are NOT hateful, they often succeed in changing the focus of the discussion.
But WHO is hateful? The anti-American leftists who are trying to ram an immoral and unconstitutional agenda though with arm twisting, backroom bribery, and brute intimidation of their opponents… or the ones who are calling them on it?
Give me a break.
I’m not a leftist, “Hateful” Ben. Eric forgot to mention that. I can’t stand either party. Puts me in a nice position to see how biased your comments are.
There was also a much longer post here from me, but one of you deleted it. I won’t waste my time again. Trust me.

Neither did I paint you as a leftist. I merely reported your comment and explained why I disagreed with it. Who is being “hateful” and distorting the reality for their own benefit now?

You painted me as a leftist by omission. Not initially. But Ben’s first response calling me a “whiny leftist” sat here for 3 days. I didn’t even know my words were being put on this site and had little chance to defend myself. If I hadn’t dropped in a second time when I noticed you mentioned me in your Facebook link to your most recent article, I’m sure it never would have been corrected, and Ben would have carried on his merry way.

You simply MUST be a leftist. Reading your other comments were like reading a litany of leftwing protests against conservative values and philosophy. If that weren’t enough, your obvious lack of perception – thinking that you can get away with saying you aren’t a leftist just because you claim to not be able to stand either party (as if being a leftist automaticaly makes one a Democrat) – clearly reveal you as a leftist.
Also, the sheer amount of hatred and venom in your comments attest to one unavoidable fact: you must lead a puny and insignificant life working for “the man” and you feel frustrated at your own lack of accomplishment and so you are bitter and can’t stand to see an ideology attacked which would take from us who succeed to give to those (ahem) who don’t. See? I AM good at this! And you thought I was merely boasting.
I don’t know why the magnanimous RevNev approved this post of yours – your “comment” is absolutely devoid of anything other than an apparent attempt to clear your own name. Perhaps he approved it because he knew I was getting hungry so out of his graciousness he cast you before me as a snack.
Maybe?

Does your psychoanalysis come from introspection? The venom in my comments comes in direct response to that which you inject in your own article (liberals are cowards, rancid cesspool, liars, stupid, evil, imbeciles, anti-American, opposed to goodness and normalcy, despise the Constitution, no mercy, no kindness, no compassion.) You reap what you sow. I don’t think leftists are any of these things, but I’d be willing to take it back a notch and condemn them by saying the road to hell is paved with good intentions.
At any rate, I have to hand it to you, since you’ve hit the nail on the head regarding my self-loathing. I wouldn’t necessarily call my life puny and insignificant, and technically I’ve accomplished a lot, but I do feel like I’ve made some poor choices along the way and could be doing more. My frustrations ebb and flow.
In terms of a “litany of leftwing protests against conservative values and philosophy”, I actually can’t see where I’ve done that. Granted, I don’t remember exactly on this article the first time (it’s been deleted,) but let’s examine briefly the 3 main points I made in response to his article:
1) He misquoted Obama, replacing “worry” with “think.” Changed the connotation to support his argument, whether on purpose or not. I did wrap up with what you’ve probably heard from leftists before, that conservatives don’t have an alternative, but the difference between me and them is I actually WISH the conservatives had an alternative. I don’t want this Health Care bill. I’m just looking for a little responsbile punditry here.
2) Conservatives jumped all over Obama for his support of Zelaya. They took advantage of Zelaya’s ties with Chavez and Castro to imply that, by extension, Obama supports Chavez and Castro. Really not true, and I explained why. Just because I don’t buy into the Obama is a socialist/communist thing, that doesn’t make me a leftist.
3) My overarching theme is how little substance seems to be provided in support of your article. Specifically here, you obviously have two very valid points to make. First, you say that the reconciliation process is underhanded and an abuse of power. Second, you are saying that this abuse is even worse because instead of being used to get what the people want done, the exact opposite is happening. Something the people want is being forced down their throat. I really love these two points. Now what happened to the rest of your article? I have a hard time reading most political articles because of their emotionally charged biases. They make me sad and angry, regardless of which side publishes them, because I know they are a reflection of the attitudes in Washington, and it’s no wonder there’s little bipartisanship. Why be part of the problem?
If you pay special attention, you’ll see I don’t usually argue against your values and philosophy. I take umbrage at the arguments themselves.
What am I? A Libertarian mostly, and Harry Browne said, “We should never define Libertarian positions in terms coined by liberals or conservatives – nor as some variant of their positions.” Otherwise, like Hulk, we get angry and smash things.
Don’t forget to brush your teeth.
