Persecution in Pakistan

Persecution is alive and well. Six Christians were killed in Pakistan by extremists. I don’t have a lot of time to comment except to say, pray for the persecuted church. Pray that their faith will be in God and their deaths will not be in vain. The martyrs will be vindicated one day just as Jesus was at his resurrection. Come quickly, Lord Jesus.

Events like this put into perspective our work in churches. Are we making disciples? We do not face similar threats to our physical harm in the U.S. but we do face a spiritual enemy who is eager to keep us flabby in the faith. Pray that our faith will be strengthened, too.
