Loving Levin
I finally picked up a copy of Mark Levin’s book Liberty and Tyranny. I know! What took me so long? Now that it is finally in my clutches I realize this is the book I have been waiting for and that America desperately needs. His first chapter is best summarized by its final sentance: “Conservatism is the antidote to tyranny precisely because its principles are the founding principles.” That’s as good a line about conseravatism as I’ve ever heard and perfectly states why I am a conservative.
